About the event
VE & the Museum of Science & Technology have partnered for our next signature event named LOCALMOTION taking place from 6pm to 10pm on Saturday July 20th at the Museum of Science and Technology.
LOCALMOTION features two events in one evening, a show and shine judged car show with prizes for Best in Show, Photo of the Night and a People’s Choice Award. This portion is $50 per car.
The second event is a Photo Opportunity for your car in front of the Museum’s one of a kind LED Canopy and in front of an antique Full sized Steam Locomotive from the Museums private collection. This portion is $100 per car, includes 4 photos by local Ottawa Photographers and entry into the above show & shine.
The most important goal of our event is 100% of the proceeds raised will be donated on behalf of the Ottawa Car Community to the Ingenium Foundation & The Museum of Science & Technology to help them start and fund a new scholarship specifically for students who wish to take part in automotive related studies.
NOTE: This event is a mandatory ticket event and the Museum grounds will be completely closed off to protect our event and our participants. Security Guards have been hired for the event and will not allow any car that does not have a ticket on to the museum grounds. Any irresponsible activity as defined in your ticket purchase terms and conditions will result in immediate removal from our event.
